John Cassian

John Cassian's author page includes 21 different names. Johannes Cassianus, Jean Cassien, St. John Cassian and so on. Unfortunately there is another author by this name, who wrote books like Killing Matt Cooper, and his books are included in the main author.

Do we need to separate all the names, then split John Cassian, recombine everything, aliasing the saint to what?

I don't really like the idea of splitting page that includes so many alternate forms of the names that have nothing to do with the horror author.

Or is there an better solution?

Then split that one, alias one of the parts into the old author (and maybe add a canonical name of the winning one is out now the most common name is out of the combination.

But it is the main one and can't be separated.

Yeah - this will be ugly and will require to completely pull everything else out and recombine it (and with the caching, that will be a nightmare).

I've done the separation, recombined all with books, split and aliased the big one. I have not dealt with CK at all.

I must have chosen a good time, as I was able to recombine each variant as I separated it.
