Hide Fields in "Add Books"

Is there a way to hide fields in the "add books" tab so that it simplifies what we want to change or update for the new books that we are adding to our library?

Afraid not, sorry for the inconvenience.

They can be ignored or cleared as you add a new book. I think the only required field is the title. Everything else is optional.

Depending on how many fields you are finding you need to consistently delete data from, you *might* find it easier going to use manual entry — especially if all you want is title and author and maybe a couple of other fields.
