If you enter either field or fields in the search box at the top of the page, you will get 111,589 results. This will however also include works with field(s) as author or in some other field. It will also include works that are not books. You can limit the results to 84,010 by then limiting it to books on the left, but it will still include many results that do not have field(s) in the title.

You can see just the topics you started by choosing that link in the left hand menu of any talk page.

(sorry, I didn't mean to ask my Q twice)
Hi MarthaJeanne,
Holy moly! Thank you for your quick and complete reply.
What a resource librarything is.
Now, not to quibble, but sometime in the far far future, it might be nice to search for 'the most popular book that includes field/s in the title' (or the 10/100/etc. most popular books) (a possible task for those geeks etc. who have the skills to do such) (NOT complaining--84 thousand is a bit much to dig through, but it's nice/amazing to see such a comprehensive list)
Thank you very much for your help.
Mike

You can cut down the returns by adding a modifier to indicate more closely what you want:
Field guide
Field goal
Farm field
Or the book I’m currently reading, Field Study
