Thanks for keeping the chat going, Carol! We're having that kind of cold, dreary, rainy day that is in high contrast to the daffodils nodding on their stems. May go in and make myself a "cuppa" in a nod to my friends on the other side of the pond!

>4 threadnsong: No daffodils here yet, threadnsong. Hope you enjoyed your cuppa 🫖, 🙂.

>4 threadnsong: I have daffodils and cupcakes! Maybe we can have a virtual tea party in the garden. Everyone's invited! 😊🫖🌼🧁

Virtual daffodils sound very nice. Hope the tea party was fun :-)

>8 Jenson_AKA_DL: It's a virtual tea party. It *could* be ongoing and everyone can just chime in when they're free. The good thing about being virtual is the cakes are non-fattening and never go stale! 😉

>9 genesisdiem: non-fattening virtual cakes would be wonderful!! I'm a sucker for the real world fattening cakes LOL

Unfortunately, I had left our fireplace damper open after burning some papers. Seems an animal got into the fireplace and for 4 days we heard something rattling around in the fireplace. At first, we thought it was just air coming down the chimney but then my husband saw the squirrel and we tried to entice it to come out, but it wouldn't. We had to hire an humane wildlife rescuer to come in and release it. I never saw an animal run so fast to get out of our yard after he released it. I will never do that again!

>11 JulieLill: Not funny in itself, but the picture of that squirrel racing for the hills, 😂.

>12 Sergeirocks: Yes! Agree. I'm glad you were able to get the little critter out and off to find a REAL tree!
