I, too, love the Thursday Next series. I got to see Fforde at a reading once in San Francisco, at the late, lamented Clean Well-Lighted Place for Books. He was very friendly, evidently a very nice guy.

I have been meaning to read this series for ages. Since you're on book two, I take it you liked at least the first one?

>27 pnppl: Actually I liked the second book more than the first one. So much so I was hesitant to read the second but I'm glad I did. Now I will go on with the series :)
