For some reason, I can add these two works to my workbench but when I go to combine the 0 edition work is missing. Anybody know how to get these works to combine?

I get the same thing.

Weird, I'm getting it with another thing I want to combine as well. I'll check back in a few hours and if nobody can do it I'll open a bug report.
(For the record, here are the other works getting stuck:

Check the Editions page, if it says "None" then workbench combining won't work (nor will author page combining, both of those rely on there being editions). I believe this happens when a separator goes too far and peels every edition away.
For example in >1 lemontwist:: https://www.librarything.com/work/27437674/editions
Copies and editions of this title
None
They can still be combined but only by those who have "the knowledge" :-)

>4 Nevov: Interesting... do you have "the knowledge"? And if so, can you share it?

I believe it is something handed down from master to apprentice, back to the time when T.Spalding first invented ye moderne tecnolgie "Combining". I think it's the same as how the "too much love" combining is handled, so because it lets the usual rules protecting almighty screwups from happening be broken, it's only shared when trust is gained that it won't lead to almighty messups, and for that reason not publicised. Edit: no I am not in the ranks :-) Edit2: I have been posting them in the "too much love" thread when I hit one, but I'm sure they're monitoring this... :-)

I'm not in the know either, and very, very happy to leave it that way.

>6 Nevov: Yes, posting in the Too much love thread will see it taken care of eventually. (link goes to topic #4, current in Sept. 2022)

>1 lemontwist: Those first 2 links lead to the same work i.e. there is nothing to combine.
