The hero is a rancher in Texas (Oklahoma? Montana?) and needs a housekeeper. He is picking up a housekeeper from bus station. The lady is running away from home and a wedding (her dad owns a corporation and mom is a movie star). She lies she is the housekeeper and they go home. She can't cook at all but can make amazing lemon cake/pie. They fall for each other, birth a calf together, lies get exposed and finally get together.
I read it in 1998-2000 but can't remember the name of the title, author or the characters. Been searching for it and Google doesn't have much luck either.
