Musty Books

Hi everyone! I'm still new here, I don't know where to post this, but this seems like a safe group!

I've bought some second hand books, which are beautiful editions, but sadly smell kinda musty. And with 'kinda' I mean that I will not read them for too long while indoors, because it's that bad.
I have left the books outside for hours in hopes the smell would subside, but it only went slightly down.
Does anyone have any tips to get smells out of a book?

The off-the-shelf answer? http://bookdeodorizer.com/
I've used to good effect.
Good luck.

Best place to post this is https://www.librarything.com/groups/bookcareandrepair. You may find useful tips in some of the existing topics, too.

Bottom line. 'musty' means mold, so keep them quarantined from your other books.

Thanks! I've taken a look at the website, and it does look promising.
I saw at checkout that they only ship to Canada, UK, and US, and I live in neither of those places.

>4 BookDragons: You could try this UK source, which may ship more broadly: https://www.preservationequipment.com/
