Leave your cookbook recommendations here. I love reading cookbooks and then making the recipies of course but I just would love an assortment that we can discuss too! Let's induldge together everyone.
I've enjoyed Samarkand by Caroline Eden. It's a bit more of a coffee-table book than I usually go for but the proportion of recipes to pretty pictures is high enough and it covers an area I know little about - essentially, the central Asian republics of the former Soviet Union. I've tried four or five recipes with good results, and particularly recommend the lentil and apricot soups.
I just received the new Smitten Kitchen Keepers- I now have all three Smitten Kitchen cookbooks and I really like the recipes.
