I just wanted to let you who are interested know that I bought my bro-in-law King Leary for his birthday last week and he gives it rave reviews. He says it's laugh out loud funny, but full of hockey in-jokes, so wouldn't appeal to every reader.

King Leary is so Canadian...hockey, aboriginals, church-run residential schools. And your bro-in-law is right: it is laugh out loud funny. I really felt I was right there with the characters; but wasn't sure I always wanted to be.
