>37 Carol420: I was not impressed with the movie Salem's Lot probably because I loved the book. I don't think he did justice to it. Crazy isn't it.

>100 JulieLill: Ken Dodd: utterly unfunny Liverpudlian comedian who had a tickling stick (feather duster) and said "tattifalarious". He was in court 30 years ago on tax evasion charges. One pay day for me and one for one of my many off-shore bank accounts. He was acquitted after repaying £1million, stating he was a simple soul who didn't understand financial stuff. He was still made a "Lord" in a New Years Honour list. It never seemed particularly honourable to me!

Broadcasting aimed at pre-schoolers began in 1981 and you'd have to be dead not to recognise the theme tune, (if you're a Brit) but not much ever happened in every episode. I believe there was a bit of controversy when Pat and Jess (his cat) became "The Special Delivery Service" in 2008 using a helicopter, a motorcycle and sidecar (for Jess) and a 4 x 4 Jeep on his deliveries, but the world kept turning.
