It's been a year since you posted this message. How did your talk on Buddhism go?
I live in Southern California but have had the good fortune to visit the Japanese Garden in Portland on three occasions. All of them marvelous days with no crowd, the middle of the week. it was truly a delight. I didn't know there were guides provided there. I'll ask about it next time.
