For anyone interested in witchcraft during the Elizabethan period - and it was a central concern, vital to an understanding of the age! - you may be interested in a publishing house I've just begun, which specialises in reprints of Early Modern writing on witchcraft.
Our first publication is a reprint of George Gifford's A Dialogue Concerning Witches and Witchcrafts (1593), which contains a fantastic insight into parish life during the period, and the folks beliefs that were held.
See www.puckrelpublishing.com for more info - I welcome your suggestions and comments!

I'd suggest leaving it at two posts about your company before they start getting flagged as spam. One is fine, two is okay, more than that is pushing it.

Hey, I posted as I thought it was something people here might be genuinely interested in - if you're not, that's fine, but you're free to keep your opinion to yourself.

I'm also looking for comments and discussion, more generally, as this is a brand new venture and I'm interested in people's thoughts, but maybe that's not what a discussion group is for?

I made the suggestions so you wouldn't get flagged as spam. Spam is not allowed at LibraryThing. That is the rule, not my opinion.

If you want to post more like post #1, feel free. But it WILL get flagged as spam.

It was a friendly suggestion that got a snarky reply. I'm done.

>3 Typhon: Morphidae is right. You are wrong.

If you had looked at this site a bit more carefully before you began what looks suspiciously close to a violation of the TOS, you might have observed that there are some things we don't like. Spam is of course one of them, but another is bad manners. You're free to keep both your advertising and your snark to yourself.

That said, good luck with your venture.
