If you have a gmail account and use Google drive I found this relatively easy way to print labels.

Export files from LibraryThing
Upload the file to the Google Drive
Open/save it as a Google Sheet (it must be in this format for the merge to work)
Open a blank Google Doc
Click on Add Ons
Search for Label Merge
Select the Avery Label Merge (click on +free box)
The instructions will appear on the screen - read the info but you will need to delete it to get it to work the first time.
With the blank screen click on Add-Ons
Select the Avery Label Merge (now you can follow the instructions)
Select your label type
Select your file (remember it must be the Google Sheet and I had the best results with the file closed)
Select the columns and arrange them how they should display on your label.
Click on Merge and a new Google Doc will open with the label layout ready to print!

Just remember the data printed is only as good as was entered into LibraryThing (I need to clean some things up in my collection!)

>2 efalibrary: At the top of the website, click More. Then click Import/Export. There are several export options there...

Yes, I tried every version and find no way to upload to Google like these instructions here on Printing Labels. Is there any other way to print labels from your site?

>4 efalibrary: Once you have your export file (I prefer Excel file format, personally), you can run a mail merge from any system you're familiar with.

If you have a Gmail email address (as oslchibbing explains in >1 oslchibbing:) then you should have access to a Google Drive. If you don't use Gmail, then that may be why you're having trouble finding the Google Drive to upload your export file.

Instead, you could run a Mail Merge in Microsoft Word (https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Word-mail-merge-A-walk-through-the-process-4ad61088-e108-4f56-b60d-e3c7d30c954a) or somewhere else. I hope this helps!

How does this give you the correct duplication of information (in other words, two, one for the card and one for the card holder envelope? (Not an electronic library.)

Thank you!!! I see your original post is a few years old; I wish I had found it sooner. I have been dealing for with very user unfriendly (or at least unfriendly to those of us who are not IT experts!) cataloging software that requires a very complicated and lengthy ritual in order to print spine labels. I just found your post, followed your instructions and it all worked so well and so easily. You have just saved me hours of work and much frustration. I will remember you fondly every time I print a page of labels. :-)

What brand/number (etc) of labels are available to print one or two labels at a time? We require a spine label, a bookpocket label and a card label. I found a template for such labels at WL-136.pdf. But this would require printing on a full blank sheet of label paper, then cutting out each label. There MUST be some sort of Avery or other brand of a sheet of labels that can be printed only a few at a time. We are a VERY small library so not much activity (yet!) Thanks in advance!!!
