One of the books I've been waiting for came out in March: Who Buries the Dead by C.S. Harris. I own all of this historical mystery series in hardcover.

Two ARCs, both historical romance & both due to pub in April:
* The Duke's Disaster by Grace Burrowes
* When a Rake Falls by Sally Orr

I'm going to try not to purchase anything else until the next book on my wish list is published in April -- the latest US release of a Susanna Kearsley novel.

I'm finding a May book very hard to resist, too: _Quartet_, by Joseph Ellis. I've never read anything by him, but this looks at 4 men in the period between the American Revolution and the US Constitution.

Fingers crossed. Eyes shut.

So much for resolutions and resistance. Just learned I missed the publication of a new book by my favorite modern poet, Ted Kooser, last November.

So now I also own Splitting an Order.

An ARC about twin brothers and discord. Due to be published in April: Whiskey and Charlie by Annabel Smith.

Picked up the Kearsley book I mentioned before: A Desperate Fortune.

Many ARCs sit unwanted and unloved in our store, so I brought 3 more home. At least one of them may be handed on unread:
* Epitaph by Mary Doria Russell (3/15; a novel of the OK corral)
* Tiffany Girl by Deeanne Gist (5/15; religious historical fiction)
* Unfair: The New Science of Criminal Injustice by Adam Benforado (6/15; ways in which people, often subconsciously, controvert "impartial" justice)

Three more ARCs:

* Church of Marvels by Leslie Parry (May 2015; historical fiction)
* Twice a Texas Bride by Linda Broday (May 2015; historical romance)
* The Medea Complex by Rachel Florence Roberts (June 2015; historical fiction)
