Michigan, Traverse City, Horizon Books

Downtown on Front Street, HB has three floors of new books, with strengths in Northern Michigania, and local writer Jim Harrison. It has a coffeeshop and live music stage. It also has a great selection of deeply discounted titles.

My husband and I love Horizon Books! But then again we are a little biased. His grandparents have a house on Green Lake in Interlochen, so we go every year for summer vacation. His parents loved Traverse City so much they named him Traverse! Such a beautiful part of the world. I can't recommend the town or the bookstore more!

Great bookstore. I attended a reading/book signing there when we were in Michigan.
