Okay, we've fallen over the precipice and plummeted into November. (For those of us in the northeast, this is pretty close to the truth right now, eh?)

So here's to the mad scramble to have fun. INFO DUMP is the name of the game week one. See how many paragraphs of your world building can expand the limited plot you have. :>

No wait, that's my writing style normally. (Joking!)

So how we doing?

Firstly I have a question. Is week one the first three days of November or the first full week of November?

But I'm not doing so hot. I'm very busy the first three days of November. I've managed to write about 1200 words yesterday and today combined while I was supposed to be paying attention in English.

I go by actual number days, so week 2 will begin on November 8, Week 3 on Nov 15, etc.

Day 1 good, day 2 lousy and all those words will need to be ripped out at some point. But that can wait till Desember!

Ha! You're keeping me at it at the moment too Brian since I keep trying to keep my word count above yours (petty I know, but anything to keep me going!) - but this'll only last my first few days then when I'm back at work RL will drastically reduce my word count.

No editing, no editing, no editing. New mantra.

Hey all! I've also started writing... I'm not sure if I'll make the 50k words, but my main goal is just to actually write something :) I used to write a lot when I was younger, but haven't written anything the past years, so I'm really just using naowrimo to get working on something again. If I do make the 50000, that's great, but if I don't, that's also fine.
For now, I'm already behind on the wordcount, but I do have an idea and sort of an outline, and have written a first page, so hopefully I'll be able to write something nice before the end of the month :)

Good luck everyone!

Seems like life just conspires against us , doesn't it, when we want to accomplish something important to us? I try not to worry about the word count but getting myself to the typewriter is the most difficult part for me;once I get there, any amount of words is an accomplishment. In fact I usually surprise myself with what I am able to accomplish. I think we should all give ourselves a hearty clap on the back for undertaking this. Good Writing, friends!

*lurker alert*

I am swinging through to send a word or two of encouragement. Remember, if no one writes, there's nothing left to read, at some point. I hope that is encouraging.....
