campusdan, I wonder why one needs books which refute Islam and expose its flaws? Islam exists and will continue to exist. There are as many (if not more) Muslims in the world as there are Catholics, and they're certainly not going to go away. Wouldn't it be better if we were to try to discern how Christians and Muslims can live together in peace and love, rather than trying to refute each other?

I believe and accept what God has revealed to humanity in His Word as expressed through His Church as articulated in the Catechism of the Catholic Church and echoing the Second Vatican Council that the fullness of truth subsists in the Holy Catholic Church. Therefore we should lovingly bring all persons into full communion with the Catholic Church, this is the essential mission of Christ and all His disciples for 2000 years, to repent and believe in the Gospel.

Might also be worth looking at books which explain Islam, and correct some of the misconceptions by western writers.

I reckon anything by Farid Esack is probably worth a read.
