Is this possible? I've been digging around and I see some mentions of the opposite (BM to LT) but I couldn't figure out the instructions. Has anyone done this and how? Thanks!

I think I tried that a while back, but if I remember correctly it doesn't actually work: it put the books I was trying to wishlist into my bookshelf so people thought they were available for trade.

How did you get that part to work? There's a separate import in bookmooch for inventory and wishlist - maybe you used inventory by mistake? They're easy to mix up!

I am curious too. I've imported a few times from BM to LT (and always with some problems there -- my collections get all messed up) but I've never tried it the other way. I have Bookmooch in my 'quicklinks' box on the LT work page so I use that to add a book to BM at the same time I'm adding it to LT.

this is for adding books to your inventory:

To go from LT to BM. Here are the steps. I tried this and it worked. This is NOT for 1 book but a list of books. Even though the buttons are labeled book; it is for a list. I don't think BM will eliminate duplicates; so you may have some clean up work.

1. on LT: go to the MORE tab
2. Click on the EXPORT TO CSV link
3. The file (depending on your browser will download to your computer). Notice the NAME of the FILE you will have to find it later.
4. You have to be able to find the file. As this is the file you will upload to BM.
5. Go to BM
6. Sign into BM
7. Click on ADD
8. Click on IMPORT BOOK LIST (button)
9. Click on CHOOSE FILE (button)
10. A Window opens up and you will need to find the file you downloaded from LT. Click on the file and click the OPEN Button
11. On BM; Click the UPLOAD YOUR FILE button
12. Click the ADD SELECTED BOOK (button)
13. Go to INVENTORY and see the books

I hope I made the directions simple enough :) If you get stuck, post here and others (or me) can try and help. Please post which browser you are using, Firefox, Chrome, IE so we can try and replicate what you are doing.
