Who's your favorite author of Lesbian works?

The one that I'm reading at the time?? :D

KG MacGregor is high on the list, and Shamim Sarif stuff is nice too. And, have any of y'all read 9th Judgement by James Patterson. I've read the whole series (which I only sorta recommend doing, though the books are fast reads) from the beginning, and when I stumbled onto the 9th book in the Women's Murder Club series, I was like, 'well.... why didn't he (and his co-author) do this ages ago...'

Jeannette Winterson has to be my favorite.

This isn't a field I read widely in, but am always happy to read in. I have read everything by Nicola Griffith -- both science fiction and more mainstream thrillers.

Ooh, yes, Nicola Griffith is on my TBR list (too big for a pile, if it were a pile the pile would fall over... :)) I read The Blue Place and thought it was good, but then life and all sorts of stuff got in the way and then I started on a different series and haven't gone back to her.

I really enjoy Kim Pritekel's books. They tend to be more 'substantive' than most lesbian fiction, though I wouldn't go so far as to call them literary.

Don't know if she qualifies as such, but Jacqueline Carey does heterosexual, homosexual, and bisexual relationships quite well.

Well, when I finally get done with BloodLine (not LezFic) as well as a boatload of other stuff from the library I have 1st Impressions and The Candidate waiting very patiently on my shelf. I know they're not the best ever written, but I think I've enjoyed other Tracey Richardson books in the past (or, maybe I'm getting her confused with someone else). Ah well.... should be fun, if I ever get to them.

Sarah Waters is my favorite, but Emma Donoghue and Ivan E. Coyote come close. Plus, emily m. danforth and Rae Spoon (not a lesbian--queer) have managed to get pretty high on the list with only their first book each!
