I wanted to start another thread about books that people have found that make good catholic arguments against paganism and new age religions.

Some books that I know of are:

Catholics and the New Age by Mitch Pacwa

Overcoming the Power of the Occult by Terry Ann Modica

The New Age Counterfeit by Johnnette Benkovic

David Bentley Hart's The Atheist Delusion has some nice chapters against the original paganism.

Your writer is Chesterton. He´s a genial writter and a apologist.
It has a clarity of thought and of ideas that they amaze. Also his self-confidence, his irony is incredible. His arguments are in my opinion completely current for the current society.
Another book that I liked is that of Pearce ' Writers Converos ', which reflects the conversion of great and very good thinkers and Anglo-Saxon writers in the latter century. A jewel
