Andrew Bacevich has an interesting summary of the Global War on Terrorism posted at Huff Post. I often wonder how things would have turned out in Afghanistan had we not gotten sidetracked in Iraq, which, in my opinion, is the single biggest foreign policy mistake the U.S. has ever made.
