Between Sundays

Karen Kingsbury is an author of Christian fiction, and each book that I have read by her has changed my life in some way. The first book that I read of hers was Between Sundays. This book told the story of a NFL football player who realized the impact his actions made when he was off of the football player. What mattered is what he did between Sundays. He soon found ways to influence others in a positive manner, rather than having a blatant disregard for his actions. Through this, he formed a lasting relationship with a Christian women, as well as finding strong role models. This book just reminded me that my actions as an educator influence so many people, even when I do not realize it. Not only that, I realized the importance of surrounding myself with positive people on a regular basis.
