Has anyone used these?

I'm looking at building a library in my house and want something nice, but affordable and able to go floor to ceiling. Also, I live in the middle of nowhere, the closest Ikea is about 1000 miles away-- heck the closest Wal*Mart is an hour away and in another state. Local carpenters are nearly impossible to find since we're in the middle of a huge oil boom and able bodies are in the oil patch making a whole lot more than they would building me a few shelves.

I've never used them but the no studs required makes me suspicious. They're good looking but will probably not be able to support much weight if they're just attached to drywall.

I have to agree. Drywall is not structural material and will not carry the weight.

Well, they say the weight gets distributed down the verticals, not through the wall itself. Regardless, I'm not convinced. If they gave any clue as to how the product was attached to the wall, I might be less skeptical.
One of the pictures was two forty-pound sacks of concrete and a pair of cinder blocks on a set of shelves. The verticals looked suspiciously enough spaced that they just might be nailed into studs.
