I'm a volunteer at my local library and we will be hosting a trivia night in the fall. I'm looking for some good manga/anime trivia questions. Any suggestions?

It would be great if they could appeal to both girls and guys ages 13 to 18.

Do you know which series are popular with those age groups in your neighbourhood?

lol, not really. It's going to be in the form of a competition and different teen groups will be participating. I've never met the people from these groups.

Hm, I don't know HOW useful it will be, but maybe you can ask questions where you choose an author and a series and ask if that series is by that author (or: which one of these three series is NOT by this author)?

Or questions like:
-Which hair colour does the female/male lead character of this anime/manga have?
-Is Sailor Chibimoon the little sister or daugher of Sailor Moon? or something like "What is the Japanese name of Sailor Moon civilian form" or something like that, or maybe about another series as I don't know how popular Sailormoon actually is nowadays.
-Questions about Pokémon... (I'm sure everyone knows a bit about that)

thanks for the recommendations. I know that one of the groups is of 13-15 year old girls. So I don't know how much they would know of older series. I'm older and know both series (SM and P).

I think they might be. Maybe go with Fruits Basket, Happy Cafe, anything CLAMP, Bleach... those are the ones I see that age group talking about a lot online (ie: recent and popular shoujo, also big popular series)

And/or get them to name 3-5 anime franchisers in America. (Or anime studios in Japan)

Ghibli (everyone's seen Ghibli movies, right?)
Who has provided the soundtrack for all of Miyazaki's Ghibli films? Correct Answer is Joe Hisaishi.
Ask them to name 5 Ghibli movies.
Or, if you want to make it hard, tell them the title of 5 popular Ghibli movies and ask them to correctly put the titles in the order that they were produced, oldest first.

Which anime character was voiced by Elizabeth Berkley, the actress who portrayed Jessie in Saved By The Bell? Correct answer: Naomi Armitage. (Armitage is enough for the answer... And, yes, this question ages me.)
