Most of the books I have purchased are reference type books on subjects as varied as the History of Rome, the Viet Nam war, The Body and how it functions, Plagues throughout the history of man, Medical Mysteries. I have a handful of novels that I have enjoyed over the years, but I usually borrow novels from the library.

Retired about a year ago from large pharmaceutical company. Sold my condo and moved closer to my daughter and granddaughter. Reading is my favorite hobby. I have just started watching Netflix on a new big screen TV. That is a whole new world to me, because when I was working, I never watched TV, I just read. I was reading 3-4 books a week, but will slow down to about 1-2 when I return to work (part time). I am a very happy person who enjoys life and good people. :-)
