Sobre Minha Biblioteca
My library is diverse to say the least. At present I have a little over 3,000 books. As you can appreciate it will take time to complete the cataloging process. What is especially frustrating is this is the second time building my library. Some years ago I lived in a coastal area and experienced having my home destroyed by water damage. A limited number of the books survived and of those that did about half were lost in an accident during the relocation process. A flatbed truck moving many of my items while crossing a bridge had a problem which resulted in many books going over the edge and into a bay. My only satisfaction is that I may have provided the basis for a library at a school of fish!

Storage is a perpetual problem, another item most writers and book lovers share. There was a time when it was an issue to realize the books were literally stacking up and it was time to buy or build a new bookcase. I have now arrived at the point where choosing what should be disposed of to make room for another bookcase is the bigger issue. Once I had a friend who questioned why would I get another book when I don’t have room for another book? I have spent some time wondering about this question. I still don’t understand how someone, even a non-book lover, could ask such a foolish question.
About Me
I grew up being taught, among other things, the wonderful value of reading and the importance of books. Those were my earliest gifts to receive that I remember. Funny, when you speak with many writers and people who love books they remember books received better than most other objects. My Mother raised four of us on her own from the time I was two. Yet she always found the time to read to us and encourage us to read as we got older.

I originally studied Theology and latter diversified into oceanography, science, psychology, management and languages. After too many years without focused effort I got serious and ended up with degrees in Theology and Psychology. I enjoy writing books and articles and especially ministering with people.
