Sobre Minha Biblioteca
I think my library is currently up to date. There are a couple more places my books *COULD* be. But so far this is my entire library.

If you like books another website to look at is bookcrossing.com

About Me
I love to read, and am happiest with a book in my hands. The perfect day would be a slightly cold, rainy day, with hot tea, a blanket, and a really interesting book.

Someone asked me for a list of my favorite books and since I can't remember who it was... Just posting a generic note.

These are my favorite ALL TIME books. As in I would read over and over again happily. I've read and owned many more books. But these are some that for one reason or another are enjoyable to me. Also some of my genres may be wrong. WARNING SOME WIKI ARTICLES MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS.

SCI FI

Dune by Frank Herbert - The first book is by far the best, I read the series, but after the first three my interest wanes and by the time I got to Chapterhouse I wanted to murder someone. But if you've never read the first one. It's a fantastic book. I can't tell you how many tests I've written the litany against fear on. The bar exam was no exception. I also can't vouch for the prequels, though Sean gets angry anytime they are mentioned. So SHHH!

Friday by Robert Heinlein - Heinlein is an author that I've read a lot of. But in general a lot of his books I can read once and never read again. This is an exception. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friday_%28novel%29

Starship Troopers by Robert Heinlein - My absolute favorite Heinlein book. If you've only seen the movie, no matter how you felt about it, READ THE BOOK! It's a good book, it's a fun book, it makes you think about the cost of being a "citizen". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starship_Troopers

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams - I own the compilation and read them all together so I have no idea where one ends and the other begins. But highly enjoyable. http://www.douglasadams.com/creations/hhgg.html

FANTASY

Lord of the Rings by Tolkien - As far as I'm concerned no explanation needed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lord_of_the_Rings

Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan - If you look at the number of books the man has written and get discouraged I'm going to suggest something wildly unpopular. Read the first book and stop, if you must, because the first book is worth reading even if it's the only one you attempt. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wheel_of_Time

A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin - I enjoy the entire series, the last book I've had pre-ordered since 2008, and I'm still looking forward to reading it. It's more "realistic" than LOTR or WoT only in that it's mainly about people being people without much magic or magical creatures. An HBO series is in the works and I'm incredibly excited! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Game_of_Thrones

Night Watch by Sergei Lukyanenko - I've read three of the four books in the series. While it has creatures that might be considered vampires, changelings, werewolves the battle between light and dark is illustrated in a way that felt new and not black and white. The characters are all fallible, but likeable, and the movies were also fun in their own way. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_Watch_%28Lukyanenko_novel%29

The Princess Bride by William Goldman - I saw the movie first, and didn't know it was based on a book until I was much older. But I enjoyed the book a great deal, and I still really love the movie. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Princess_Bride

Watership Down by Richard Adams - An adventure story about rabbits? Meh you might say, but I think you'd be pleasantly surprised. I still can't help but cry at the end, but I'm a big sap that way. It's a great story, and one that I could read over and over again and still get sucked into the story and be rooting for bunnies to make it through, at times completely heartbreaking but completely worth the journey. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watership_Down

YOUNG ADULT

Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling - This series makes me feel like magic exists. That I can be a kid again while I'm reading it and that while things aren't always fair and right, somehow they might end up OK. I also secretly want a Weasley sweater. It's true. Don't judge. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Potter

The Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Collins - The author had me from "Reaping Day" and never let go. It's incredibly disturbing but a quick read to go through all three books. A friend told me that it may have been inspired by a Japanese Novel Battle Royale. I have purchased the book but haven't read it yet. This is definitely a good read. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hunger_Games

His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman - Again, it's dark. Some of the scenes are definitely inspiration for night terrors. But it's one of the better series I've ever read and it's definitely one of the strongest heroines I've seen in a while. She's not the most likeable character at times, but you still root for her and get your heart broken when she does. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/His_Dark_Materials

Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan - I loved mythology as a kid, in fact I still do, and this is definitely the type of book that would make kids who weren't previously interested in mythology want to know more. I also love the new series he's creating based on Roman Mythology, as well as the Red Pyramid which covers Egyptian mythology. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Percy_Jackson_%26_the_Olympians

Getting Tired - Will fill in more later. But here are at least titles for some other great books and wiki entries.
