Jon Scott Birch is the co-founder of Recover Church, a discipleship-driven ministry that focuses on recovering a Christian’s identity, relationships, and life through an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Jon’s passion is seeing people come to know Christ personally, understanding discipleship as a way of life and not as a term to define or mere Bible study. As a discipleship pastor, Jon has been counseling and teaching small groups, in churches, and one-on-one (his forte) for 20 years. Jon graduated Methodist Academy and Christian World College of Theology, and has studied psychology with extensive experience in counseling. In his spare time, he enjoys reading history books, watching LOTR, and telling “punny” jokes, coffee in hand.
