after 40 years as a news reporter & producer for the BBC, my library is disjointed, to say the least. Now that I am happily working with the books team, I am keenly catching up on my reading, lead by the splendid authors who walk into my studio and our book club. Most recently I have enjoyed Charles Frazier's Cold Mountain, Andrea Levy's Small island and Howard Jacobson's The Finkler Question.
