A high percentage of Fantasy with some Science Fiction and Horror mixed in together with Crime and some mainstream stuff. As I get older more non fiction creeps onto the shelves, mostly books about landscapes and nature as well as gardening, photography, history and new age (for want of a better word).

My early childhood was spent reading Enid Blyton's Noddy books before advancing to the Famous Five and the Secret Seven. From the age of 11 to 16 I struggled to find anything else I wanted to read and then one day I stumbled across the Fantasy section in WHS and Alan Lee's front cover of Lord of the Rings. It's not an understatement to say this changed my life. A whole new world opened up before me and now 20 years later my love for reading and books show no signs of easing up - if anything it's worse!
