Sobre mimI've recently retired (June 30, 2014) after thirty-seven years teaching Russian language and literature at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I served as President of the Elizabeth Bishop Society of Nova Scotia during her centenary year (2011).
Sobre a minha bibliotecaNow that I will be having more time to myself (I hope) I expect to get the rest of my books listed here within the next year or two. I won't know how many until I've posted them -- but it's an eclectic fifty-five-year-old collection of something over 5000 volumes, strong in things Russian, classic science fiction, books about Peru, and individual authors I'm interested in.
[January 2018 update] Over the summer of 2017 I began reducing the size of my library, so my listing here is now quite out of date. So far I have discarded about three hundred volumes -- it's slow going, but I do intend to keep at it. I hope to begin a revision and general update over this coming summer.
[March, 2020 update] I haven't updated this since my last note -- maybe this autumn... but I wouldn't hold my breath, if I were you...
