My Library is filled with books for children ages 6 - 12. I use all of these books in my classroom. I tie some of the books into lessons and others I read to students just for fun. I always make my books available to my students after I read them to the class or introduce them in relation to something we are discussing. I encourage children to find other books by the same author if they enjoy a story.

I currently teach second grade and have enjoyed working with young children for twenty-five years. I hope to work in a library media center one day. I have one class left to finish my MLS. I would love to introduce books to children and enhance their technology skills.
