I am an American-born lama in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. I am founder of the Dzogchen Foundation and the author of many books, including Awakening the Buddha Within and Awakening to the Sacred. I am one of the most learned and highly trained American-born lamas in the Tibetan Dzogchen tradition. For over 30 years, I am studied with the great spiritual masters of Tibet, India, and Asia.
