About My Library

I have only been using LibraryThing for a couple of years, so my collection here does not include the majority of books I have ever read. I am gradually adding important books in print to my LT library.

For books read through June 2023, click HERE .

Later books to be found in LT Club Read.

About Me

Born in and spent most of my life in Australia. Was unable to return during the peak of the pandemic due to Australian government effectively locked out its own citizens. Had intended to retire in 2017. Due to decline in health and inability to return, I’m now stuck in New York. An expat but in one of the best cities in the world.

Perhaps because of my situation I’m particularly interested in the works of writers who for whatever reason, are transplanted in a country other than that the one where one was born.
