Sobre mimWe are a Reformed Baptist Church in Conway, AR. We have also started a pastor training program, called the Institute of pastoral studies. Our library is a ministry for the church, the seminary students and the community.

Sobre a minha bibliotecaWelcome to the Wyeth Wallis Library, a ministry of Grace Bible Church, we are so grateful we have this resource for our members and the community. We are so grateful to the Lord for the many fellow believers who have donated to our library. Over 98 percent of our books have been donated. Before checking out a book, please read all of the information on these two sheets.

The purpose of this library is to provide resources for research and study not only to the average church member, or person from the community, but also to the students of the Grace Bible Institute program. For this reason we have sought to include not only books that are essential for growth in sound teaching, but also primary sources that are helpful in understanding the influential views of unorthodox and at times even heretical teachers from the past and from our day. This serves the purpose of making true scholars, who can accurately portray those they are arguing against, and thus be able to guard themselves and others from their false teaching, and rightly refute their arguments. Just because a book is in the library, doesn’t mean that the church supports everything an author argues; sometimes the book is included for the express reason that we strongly oppose such beliefs, and thus find it important to be acutely aware of the particular teachings.
For this purpose, if you find a book you are thinking about checking out, first ensure it is from a trusted source. If you do not know the author, make sure you ask someone else, or do your research first. You can find a list, though not exhaustive, of titles that might fall under this category in our digital catalog: see our collection entitled, “Discernment Necessary.”
