(1), A book where Duncan's friends (crayons) tell him how they feel. Each of the crayons have opinions on how they feel about how they are used. Fiction. Great book to teach about colors and how to treat your crayons. (1), The little boy had a monster under the bed that he was used to. His monster decided to leave for a few days so he tried to get a new monster who was equally as scary (1), but none seemed to do the job. Fiction. Could be used to teach children that they can't be picky with what they want. (1), A little girl refuses to eat lima beans after her friends say they are nasty. She moved to America and she did not like the way her name was written in English so she kept using other words that were not her name in place of her name. Fiction. Teaches children to not interrupt and wait their turn to talk. (1), This book is about two sisters who both grow a garden. Fiction. It may be fun to pretend to be someone or something else (1), Clark is a shark who was the biggest and strongest in the school. He loved school and everything that came with it. He learned a lot of new things at school (1), but at the end of the day it's always best to be yourself. (1), A lion walked into a library and nobody was really sure what to do about a lion being in the library. He began to roar loudly and ended up having to leave because he was too loud and he was sad. The library made a new rule and he was allowed to go back in (1), The King was always in a hurry (1), and blew his son a royal kiss. However the kiss missed so the nights had to chase it. This book would be great for helping children learn the proper way to behave in school. Fiction book (1), Fiction book.Splat the cat was worried because it was valentine's day and he had made a kitten a special card. He liked kitten. Another cat had made kitten a special card too and he was sad. Kitten had a special card for splat too. Great for teaching chil (1), Splat the cat was worried to start his first day of cat school. Splat had a very eventful day at school and told his mom all about it. He loved going to cat school. Fiction book. Even when someone was trying to be mean (1), they will be rewarded even if they don't think they will be. (1), A hungry fox has a pig come to the door. The fox thinks that it's his lucky day (1), but the pig keeps telling the fox ways to make him taste better. The fox got so tired trying to get the pig for eating that he wore himself out. Fiction. Could be used to teach beginning (1), and end of the story because it is an easy story line to follow. (1), Everyone is different. This book explains a little girl who likes to eat things that are a bit different than everyone else. She was told not to be rude to others even though there was a little boy who was mean to her. Fiction. Book to teach about bullyin (1), A mouse had a very long and prickly moostache. Nothing seemed to help his big problem. Until (1), she remained herself and the bully felt very foolish. Fiction. Great book for teaching children about bullying and why it is never a good thing to do. Also about always being true to who you are. (1), he is spreading germs everywhere. Fiction. Can be used to introduce poetry or even talk about the different animals as well as the habitats they live in.
