I read all kinds of books, classic to contemporary, for all ages. I read about twice as much fiction as non-fiction. I post reviews of books I really enjoy on Goodreads, and hope to do so here, too, one day.

I grew up in Kingston, Ontario, on the military base, in the suburbs of Bayridge, and finally downtown in slummy student apartments. I went to Queen's University, and later to York, before moving to the Ottawa area to work for national conservation organizations. I now live with my husband and two children in Gatineau, Quebec, where I write freelance. I am the author of several books for kids and teens.
