Estimated 6000 books collected (by self and wife) through university education in languages, literature, history, philosophy, psychology, anthropology, political science, natural history, etc; careers in typography, publishing, public affairs, politics, medical and arts promotions, Australian parliamentary affairs; interests in Welsh genealogy (Ceredigion & Rhondda), vintage car restoration, woodworking, photography, classical and folk music. I'm slowly but methodically cataloguing my library and collection of recordings in vinyl, tape, CD, DVD, etc.
About Me
British-born in 1940, Australian-naturalised, I've lived in Yorkshire, London (schooled there and in Suffolk), Sydney (schooled at Homebush), Melbourne and, since 1975, Perth. Worked mainly in press and trade publishing, advertising, PR, government and political communications. Long retired but active in global and local issues, sundry writing, Wikipedia and craft projects including vintage and post-vintage car restoration.
