I am currently held captive by the Golden Handcuffs. I work in Corporate America in the HR department, absolutely hate doing this work, but can't leave because of the generous health insurance, bonuses and retirement package.

I stay sane through writing. I started with screenplays but have since found detective fiction as the area that gets me most excited. My hero, Chuck Restic, is a bored HR manager who moonlights as a detective. It's about a man trying to find a purpose in life.

I live in Los Angeles with my wife and family. Although I was not born here I have come to love this crazy city.
