A life-long lover of books and a former high school English teacher. I mostly read adult fiction, but will read YA fiction when a title catches my eye. I tend to be attracted to suspenseful and psychological story lines (Girl on a Train, The Widow, In a Dark, Dark Wood) and am a huge fan of authors like Margaret Atwood, Haruki Murakami, and Jenn Ashworth. If the word "apocalyptic" is used anywhere in a book description, I'm immediately sold.
