- Very few brand new books. I'm only collecting China Mieville, George R. R. Martin and Diana Gabaldon at the moment. But the libraries I visit all have shelves of used books, and I always stop and look, and every now and then I buy. Most of my books are old, out of print, and in many cases pretty much irreplaceable, and they cover just about every genre.

- 54, mother of 4, manager for Olive Garden. A bit of a wanderer having lived in three different countries and visited a whole lot more. Never without a book, either an 'eye book' or an 'ear book.' In spite of owning a large library of my own I still regularly get books from other libraries. Book reading is accompanied by music but it can be anything from heavy metal to classical. Late night reading is often accompanied by a great glass of rich red wine - or coffee!
