About Me
Kieran D George (a pen name) grew up in Northern Ireland, England and Germany, attended seven schools and was only asked to leave one of them. As a student he hitch-hiked around Europe, North America and the Middle East, worked as a diver in Saudi Arabia, barman in London, factory worker in Germany and construction worker in the USA.

He has a degree in Politics and an MBA. He has lived abroad for much of his life, in Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. With impeccable timing he has managed to be in Beirut at the start of the Lebanese civil war,Bangkok during a coup d'etat and Saudi Arabia both at the assassination of King Faisal and during the attack on theTwinTowers.

He declined the offer of an army commission before going to university but enjoyed serving with Royal Green Jackets (TAVR) and 21 SAS (TAVR) at various periods while based in the UK. His interests, apart from writing and reading, include following world news, military and intelligence history, travelling off the main tourist routes, hill walking, photography, skiing and sailing.

He now lives in England.

No photo? No, he's not paranoid.

Just naturally shy...
