About Me

So here's the thing...

Yes, I work for a major publishing house.
Yes, most of what I read comes from that company.

HOWEVER, I have worked in bookselling for a LONG FREAKING TIME and I don't/won't skew my personal opinions to push mediocrity.

I spent a dozen years working at every conceivable position at independent bookstores (from janitor to owner) before getting the tap in 2000 to be a Sales Rep. for Random House.

I now travel the Midwest to talk about books 'n' stuff with some of the best minds in the industry and do what I can to glean their wisdom.

I figure that this gives me the right to force my opinions and recommendations down the throat of any willing listener.

If I give something a good review or a lot of stars it's because I genuinely think it was worth my time and might be worth yours.
