- Sobre Minha Biblioteca
- I especially appreciate introspective, empathetic characters that are unwilling to accept exploitation and injustice. Some of the books in my library are books I assigned my students to read, stories about people and life situations with which they had little familiarity.
- About Me
- I am a retired 8th grade English and American history teacher. I'm the author of two historical novels: "Crossing the River," about the trying experiences of numerous participants in the Battles of Lexington and Concord April 19, 1775, and "Alsoomse and Wanchese," about Roanoke Island sister and brother Algonquians in 1583 challenging tribal restrictions in their quests for independence and individual attainment. I love competitive sports, having coached boys and girls school teams when I taught. A graduate of UCLA, I especially enjoy college basketball. I support progressive political candidates and causes.
