Sobre Minha Biblioteca
The books in this collection are for a primary school in Larabanga, Ghana, West Africa. There are 1,200 students and the school has very few resources. We sent these books to Ghana in June 2015 and they arrived in mid August.

We learned about the school from Kelsey Clarke, who had worked there. Here's what she wrote, on August 23, about the delivery of the books from the port in Ghana's capital, to the school in the north:

"The books have arrived in Larabanga and successfully survived the long journey from Accra. Thank you to Ibrahim for making the journey along with a young girl called Rafatu, she hadn't visited Accra before so we took this opportunity for her to be able to visit another place in Ghana. It's very important for a person to be aware that there is more than what meets their eye. A huge thank you to Keith Goddard and his wife for giving Larabanga Primary School an incredible chance to improve literacy throughout the younger generations of their community. To also be a part of the amazing work that they are doing is an absolute privilege. Here are some photographs of the children when the books arrived. Check out BooksMatter.org and find out how you can help fund or donate books for another worthwhile project."
