Why I chose to write my book now...

The author’s motivation for writing this poetry collection is to offer readers a summary, yet ‘fly on the wall’ detail of the life of an immigrant from the Caribbean, and therefore serves as a somewhat coming of age interpretation using experiences and perception.
About Me: The author now lives in a small town in upstate New York with her two children and pets. Her future lies in writing, teaching, cooking for private clients and running a bed and breakfast.
