Presently my library consists of three books: "Raising Cannon Fodder--Gold Star Dad" (Published December 2018),"Fall of America: Babylon the Great" (Published April 2023), and "The Wrath of God: End Times" (Published May 2023).

My first book covers the life and death of my son, Army Sergeant Shawn Edward Dressler. The book is written in a personal manner and gives insight into the emotional roller coaster ride that families go through when a loved one serves on the front lines of war. The book covers the military process of death notification (which failed my family). The book covers the struggles that families and extended families experience under such traumatic circumstances. A goal of writing this book was to let others faced with similar circumstances know what to expect and they are reacting normally to the trauma of losing a loved one.

My second book, "Fall of America: Babylon the Great", describes the rise and fall of the Great American Experiment. My book points out that America will be irrelevant to any Biblical references to nations involved at the End of Days. America, as a nation, will not be a part of End of Days events. America will, at best, be a third-world country at the End of Days. Events leading to America's fall are described in detail. It is my hope that folks will read my book and note the suicidal nature of America's fall. I expect that little can be done to stop the death of America as a super power.

My third book, "Wrath of God: End Times" describes the End Times events as written in the Holy Bible. It makes good sense to learn what is going to take place in the future! That information should lead you to take the deliberate actions required to avoid the events of the End Times. This book will appeal to many audiences: Christians, Non-Christians, New Christians, and those who have a limited knowledge of the Holy Bible or End Times Prophecy. The reader will appreciate the down-to-earth descriptions of coming End Times events. During the End Times, God’s wrath will be released onto the entire Earth. Over one-half of the earth’s human population will be killed by the end of the seven-year Tribulation Period.

I was born on March 29, 1950 in Covington, Virginia. I am a bonafide hillbilly and proud of it. As a kid, I walked from my house to George Washington National Forest to explore the forest and to hunt supper. I cut my teeth on a .12-gauge bolt-action J.C. Higgins shotgun. I graduated from high school on June 6, 1968 (D-Day Anniversary) and joined the Navy. I trained as a nuclear operator and electrician and then went to submarine school. I was assigned to SSBN630, USS John C. Calhoun. I served eight years in the Navy, with my last three years as an instructor at the National Reactor Test Station near Idaho Falls, Idaho. I entered the commercial nuclear industry in 1976 and worked for a number of nuclear utilities as an operator, simulator instructor, and classroom instructor. I retired as a technical procedure writer. I graduated from the Police Academy in 1997 and served as a Reserve Police Officer over eight years that included two agencies. I had five kids over two wives. I had a total of three strong boys and two beautiful daughters. My two older boys were Marines. My youngest son served with the Army's First Infantry Division. My son, Sergeant Shawn Edward Dressler was killed by an Explosively Formed Penetrator (EFP) in Bagdad, Iraq on June 2, 2007. I wrote a legacy book about Shawn in December 2018. My second book is about the rise and fall of the United States of America. My third book is about the End Times and End of Times Bible Prophecy. I have zero marketing skills and have done little to promote my books. I believe all three books carry important messages that need to be read. Hopefully this forum, "LibraryThing", will help me promote my books.
