Sobre Minha Biblioteca
I am more of a generalist than a specialist, and I think my library collection mirrors that quality. Lately, I find myself collecting books on mythology, comparative religion, women's literature, African and hispanic studies.

My favorite books are Women Who Run with the Wolves (C. P. Estes); Sassafras, Cypress, and Indigo (N. Shange); The Color Purple (Alice Walker); Their Eyes Were Watching God (Z. Hurston); The Power of Myth (J. Campbell); Goddess of the Americas (A. Castillo, ed.). I also enjoy the poetry of Mary Oliver, Frost, Neruda, and Dickinson
About Me
I am a corporate librarian living in Houston, TX. I manage an archive of company intellectual property and am an administrator of library systems. My current professional interests include metadata standards and schema, interoperability, and Library 2.0.

As an INFP, I tend to be a shy daydreamer. I tend to over-romanticize, and I want to see the good in everything and find meaning and purpose.
