Library Thing Library Item Sharing

Hello everyone. My name is Ethan. I am new to this website. I still have a lot to catalog. The name of my library is the Breeze Willow Library . I feel like we should start a program where any libraries that use Library thing or tiny cat as their system, be allowed to ask to borrow items from other libraries if they do not own that certain title . We can start figuring put ways on how the mailing of the items would work. We would charge for shipping and fines will be put in place if the item goes back to its home library with damages and if it is sent back late. I am hoping to get as many responses back as soon as possible. I know San Antonio Public library has a similar program called Ills. With this program, if started, we can make it a rule that the owning library is not obligated to lend that title.
